VisionQuest Brings Vision Back for a New Marvel Mystery

Vision is searching for answers and this time, the biggest mystery may be who he really is.

Paul Bettany returns as Vision in Marvel Studios' VisionQuest, continuing the story that began in WandaVision and continued through Agatha All Along.

After escaping those who wanted to control and weaponize him, Vision has disappeared into hiding. With his memories and sense of humanity still fractured, he begins searching for a new purpose while trying to understand exactly what and who he has become.

That search takes an unusual turn when Vision begins interacting with artificial intelligence personalities embedded within his programming, including familiar names from throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H.

But the biggest surprise may be Ultron.

James Spader returns as the infamous artificial intelligence whose actions ultimately helped lead to Vision's creation in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Exactly how Ultron and the other AI personalities exist within Vision remains one of the show's biggest mysteries.

Vision's search for answers becomes even more complicated when a bounty is placed on his head, forcing him back on the run alongside Thomas Shepard, a mysterious young man who may somehow be the reincarnation of Vision's son.

That connection could make VisionQuest as much a story about family and fatherhood as it is about artificial intelligence and superheroes.

With Vision searching for his identity, Ultron returning and the mystery surrounding Thomas Shepard, VisionQuest looks ready to explore a question that has followed Vision throughout his MCU journey:
