S.W.A.T. Exiles Pulls Hondo Back Into the Fight

Hondo thought his S.W.A.T. days were behind him. Then someone handed him a team nobody expects to succeed.

Shemar Moore returns as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson in S.W.A.T. Exiles, a new spinoff continuing the story of the longtime leader from S.W.A.T.

After a high-profile mission goes wrong, Hondo is pulled out of forced retirement and given an unusual assignment: lead an experimental S.W.A.T. unit made up of young, untested and unpredictable recruits.

They're talented.

They're inexperienced.

And apparently, they've been hand-picked to fail.

Hondo must turn the group of outsiders into a functioning team while navigating clashing personalities and a generational divide between himself and the officers he's now responsible for leading.

They won't have much time to figure it out.

The new unit is thrown into dangerous missions ranging from drug busts and hostage situations to gang warfare, where mistakes can have deadly consequences.

But as tensions grow and betrayals begin surfacing, Hondo realizes there may be more working against his team than their lack of experience.

Keeping them alive means discovering why the unit was set up to fail in the first place — while proving that the program Hondo dedicated much of his life to is still worth saving.

For years, Hondo led some of the best.

Now he has to prove he can build the best from a team nobody believes in.
