Things are getting strange in Hawkins again.

Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 returns for Season 2, bringing Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas and Max back together for another animated adventure set in the Stranger Things universe.

The series takes place during the winter of 1985, when Hawkins appears to finally be settling down. Snow covers the town, the horrors of the Upside Down seem to be fading, and the gang has returned to something resembling normal life — playing Dungeons & Dragons, having snowball fights and enjoying a rare stretch of quiet.

Of course, this is Hawkins.

Something terrifying is waiting beneath the surface.

Season 2 picks up with Valentine’s Day approaching, but romance isn't the only thing in the air. Strange ghostly apparitions begin appearing around town while a mysterious swarm of creatures creates even more chaos.

Now the gang must uncover what's causing the latest supernatural activity before Hawkins finds itself facing another disaster.

Is the Upside Down responsible? Could something still be hiding inside Hawkins Lab? Or has an entirely new threat found its way into town?

Showrunner Eric Robles returns for the animated series, with Stranger Things creators the Duffer Brothers serving as executive producers.

The format may be animated, but Hawkins apparently still follows the same rule:

Whenever things start feeling normal, something strange isn't far behind.
