ST. DENIS MEDICAL — SEASON 3

St. Denis Medical Season 3 Brings More Chaos to the Emergency Department

The staff at St. Denis Medical can handle medical emergencies.

Their personal lives might be another story.

St. Denis Medical returns for Season 3 on November 2, bringing the doctors, nurses and administrators of the perpetually underfunded Oregon hospital back for another year of trying to keep their patients, and themselves, in one piece.

The mockumentary comedy follows a dedicated but eccentric hospital staff doing their best with limited resources, too few employees and coworkers whose personal problems have a habit of following them into work.

Season 3 finds romantic entanglements and personal struggles creating even more complications inside the Emergency Department.

Matt and Serena enter the season attempting something they've spent plenty of time dancing around:

Actually dating each other.

Meanwhile, Ron is recovering from major heart surgery after undergoing a triple bypass. His absence creates an opening for Dr. Highland, a charismatic and extremely confident physician played by Damon Wayans.

That also creates a fun reunion, with Wayans appearing opposite his former In Living Color castmate David Alan Grier.

And Ron's recovery may have created another complication.

After waking from surgery asking, “Where's my Joyce?”, there are suddenly questions about exactly what his relationship with Joyce might mean going forward.

Ariana Madix also returns as Dr. Brooke Emerson, continuing her complicated relationship with surgeon Bruce Schweitz after performing Ron's lifesaving operation.

The patients at St. Denis may arrive with medical problems.

The employees are bringing plenty of their own.

And Season 3 may push more than a few of them to the brink.

St. Denis Medical Season 3 premieres Monday, November 2, 2026 at 8/7c on NBC, with new episodes streaming the following day on Peacock.
