Happy’s Place Season 3 Gives Bobbie Another Shot at Love

Bobbie and Emmett may still love each other.

That doesn't necessarily mean they're getting back together.

Reba McEntire returns as Bobbie in Season 3 of Happy's Place, the NBC comedy about family, friendship and the close-knit crew running a Tennessee tavern where almost everyone eventually becomes part of the family.

Bobbie inherited Happy's Place from her late father, along with one very unexpected surprise:

A half-sister she never knew existed.

Since then, Bobbie and Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) have gone from reluctant co-owners to sisters attempting to build both a relationship and a future for the family business.

Season 3 finds Bobbie entering another new chapter.

After the complicated end of her relationship with Emmett (Rex Linn), Bobbie was ready to give their romance another chance. Emmett wasn't.

Still hurting from everything that happened between them, he decided he needed to step away from dating altogether.

So Bobbie is moving forward and a new love interest may give her the opportunity to do exactly that.

Of course, life at the tavern isn't slowing down while she figures it out.

Isabella continues developing the sober speakeasy she created upstairs, while Gabby, Takoda and Steve deal with their own increasingly unpredictable lives. Familiar faces will return too, including Jane Lynch as Gabby's mother, Valerie.

Three seasons in, Happy's Place has become much more than the bar Bobbie inherited.

It's where this unusual collection of coworkers, friends and unexpected relatives became a family.

And this season, Bobbie may discover that moving forward doesn't always mean going back to the person you thought you'd end up with.

Happy's Place Season 3 premieres Friday, October 23 at 8/7c on NBC, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
