Cupertino Takes the Fight to Silicon Valley’s Tech Elite

Silicon Valley has money, power and some very expensive lawyers. Michael Price is about to fight them anyway.

Mike Colter stars in Cupertino, a new David vs. Goliath legal drama that takes viewers inside the high-stakes world of Silicon Valley, where challenging the wrong company could mean going up against some of the most powerful people in tech.

Colter plays Michael Price, an attorney who finds himself on the other side of that power when his former employer, a tech startup, cheats him out of his stock options and fires him.

Instead of walking away, Michael decides to fight back.

He joins forces with Olivia Siffre (Rachel Keller), another recently fired attorney, and the two form their own law firm with a very specific purpose: representing people who have been taken advantage of by Silicon Valley's tech elite.

Michael's former assistant Christy Palladino (Ella Stiller) also helps get the new firm off the ground, while the larger cast includes Nik Dodani, Busy Philipps and Renée Elise Goldsberry.

Created by Robert and Michelle King, Cupertino brings the legal storytelling behind The Good Wife and The Good Fight into the world of modern technology, where enormous fortunes, artificial intelligence and corporate influence create a very different kind of battleground. Recent reporting indicates the series will also explore broader questions surrounding the growing power and influence of Big Tech.

Michael and Olivia may not have the resources of the companies they're challenging.

But that's kind of the point.

Cupertino premieres Thursday, October 8 at 10:01 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and streams on Paramount+ the following day.
