CIA Season 2 Takes Glass and Goodman Deeper Into the Shadows

The FBI has rules.

The CIA operates in a world where those rules aren't always so clear.

CIA returns for Season 2 on October 5, continuing the partnership between two federal agents with very different approaches to protecting the country.

The series follows Colin Glass, a secretive and unpredictable CIA operative, and Bill Goodman, a by-the-book FBI special agent assigned to work alongside him as part of a clandestine joint task force in New York.

Together, they investigate threats that cross the boundaries between domestic law enforcement and international espionage, from terrorist cells and foreign conspiracies to operations most people will never know happened.

For Bill, that means continuing to learn how different Colin's world can be.

Season 2 begins with Bill returning to work following the death of his father, only to find himself immediately pulled into another complicated investigation.

When a known cartel fixer arrives in New York, the team tracks him down and discovers the body of a DEA agent. What initially appears straightforward quickly becomes something much more dangerous as they race to prevent additional murders.

The investigation also brings FBI Special Agent Stuart Scola (John Boyd) into the operation.

Alongside Glass and Goodman are Deputy Chief of Station Nikki Reynard and CIA analyst Gina Gosian, helping the team uncover threats operating inside the city and far beyond it.

Bill entered this world believing there was a right way to do the job.

The deeper Colin takes him into the shadows, the harder those lines may become to see.
