Chad Powers Season 2 Puts Russ Holliday’s Secret at Risk

Chad Powers may be a superstar on the football field, but keeping his real identity hidden is becoming a whole different game.

Chad Powers returns for Season 2 with Russ Holliday still living the unlikely second chance he created for himself by pretending to be someone else.

Eight years after one disastrous mistake destroyed his promising college football career, Russ reinvented himself as Chad Powers, a talented but eccentric quarterback who walked onto the struggling South Georgia Catfish football team.

The disguise gave Russ something he thought he'd lost forever: another opportunity to play the game he loves.

But success is creating a new problem.

Chad has become a star on the field, while his increasingly strange behavior away from football is making the people around him suspicious particularly Coach Hudson and Gerry.

And with the Catfish attempting to survive the regular season and make a run at the college football playoff, Russ can't afford to have his secret exposed now.

Ricky already knows the truth, which leaves Russ and Danny in an uncomfortable position. The person who may be able to help them keep Chad Powers alive is also the person least interested in helping them do it.

Russ created Chad to get his football career back.

Now he'll have to figure out how long he can keep winning games while pretending to be someone who doesn't actually exist.
