About You Can See Everything
You Can See Everything Follows Elizabeth Holmes Into the Unknown
Thirty-four days before reporting to prison, Elizabeth Holmes made an unusual decision.
She invited a film crew into her life.
You Can See Everything is a documentary from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim that begins during the final weeks of freedom for the disgraced Theranos founder and ultimately follows her story for three years.
Holmes was once one of Silicon Valley's most celebrated entrepreneurs.
She founded Theranos, a health technology company that claimed it could revolutionize blood testing using only tiny amounts of blood. At its height, the company was valued at billions of dollars and Holmes became one of the most recognizable faces in the technology industry.
Then everything collapsed.
Investigations raised serious questions about Theranos' technology and the claims being made to investors and the public. Holmes was eventually convicted of fraud and sentenced to prison.
But You Can See Everything begins after much of the story audiences already know.
With just over a month remaining before her incarceration, Holmes gives a skeptical documentary crew unusually intimate access to her daily life.
What begins as an attempt to document an infamous public figure before she disappears behind prison walls gradually develops into something much stranger — a three-year filmmaking journey examining the person behind one of Silicon Valley's most notorious scandals.
The documentary arrives after Holmes' story has already inspired books, podcasts and dramatizations, including Hulu's The Dropout.
This time, however, Elizabeth Holmes isn't being portrayed by an actor.
She's letting the cameras watch her herself.
You Can See Everything arrives in theaters October 16, 2026.
