Violent Night 2 Sends Santa Back Into the Fight
Santa Claus is coming to town and somebody is definitely getting more than coal.
David Harbour returns as the not-so-jolly Saint Nick in Violent Night 2, another action-packed round of Christmas mayhem that finds Santa trading presents for punishment.
The first Violent Night revealed that this version of Santa has a surprisingly lethal set of combat skills, which came in handy when he battled a team of mercenaries to save a young girl and her family.
This Christmas, there's another problem.
A ruthless gangster played by Jared Harris has begun terrorizing the merchants of Silver Bell Mall, putting Santa on a collision course with another group of people who apparently made the naughty list.
But there's a complication.
Santa has lost sight of the true meaning of Christmas, leaving his connection to the holiday and his magic, weaker than ever.
Without his usual powers, he'll have to find another way to protect the mall community and stop the criminals before time runs out.
Fortunately, Santa has backup.
Kristen Bell joins the fight as Mrs. Claus, giving Saint Nick some much-needed reinforcement as he attempts to rediscover his faith in goodness while delivering his own particularly violent version of Christmas justice.
Nice gets presents.
Naughty gets Santa.
And this year, Mrs. Claus might be even worse.
