Written by Aaron Sorkin, The Social Reckoning is a companion piece to The Social Network, this time inspired by the true events surrounding the Facebook whistleblower and the reporting that became The Facebook Files.

Mikey Madison stars as Frances Haugen, a Facebook employee who discovers troubling information about what was happening inside the company.

Rather than remain silent, she decides to expose it.

Haugen turns to Jeff Horwitz, played by Jeremy Allen White, a Wall Street Journal reporter who begins working with her to uncover and document some of the social network's most closely guarded secrets.

What follows becomes a modern David-and-Goliath story as an employee and a journalist take on one of the world's most influential technology companies, knowing that revealing what they know could have enormous consequences.

Their work ultimately helps ignite a much larger public conversation about social media, its influence on society and what technology companies know about the potential consequences of the platforms they've created.

The film also stars Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, Bill Burr and Jeremy Strong.
