THE ONLY LIVING PICKPOCKET IN NEW YORK

The Only Living Pickpocket in New York Finds an Old-School Thief in a New-School City

Harry Lehman knows how to steal a wallet.

Unfortunately, people don't carry much cash anymore.

John Turturro stars in The Only Living Pickpocket in New York as Harry Lehman, an aging career thief trying to survive in a city that has changed considerably since he learned his trade.

For decades, Harry has made his living working New York's streets, relying on quick hands, sharp instincts and an intimate knowledge of the city.

But technology isn't exactly helping business.

Cash-filled wallets have given way to credit cards that can be canceled almost instantly, leaving Harry struggling to make ends meet while caring for his disabled wife, Rosie.

Then one routine theft goes very wrong.

Harry unknowingly steals a valuable USB drive connected to a powerful crime family.

Even worse, he gets rid of it before realizing exactly what he had.

Now Harry has to find the device and return it before the people looking for it decide to come after him and everyone he loves.

There's just one problem:

Harry barely understands the technology he's trying to recover.

So he falls back on something he does understand, New York City.

Drawing on decades of relationships, favors and street knowledge, Harry races through the city trying to undo one mistake before time runs out.

Part crime story and part love letter to New York, The Only Living Pickpocket in New York follows a man whose old-fashioned skills may seem obsolete until they're the only things capable of keeping him alive.

Harry spent his life taking things that didn't belong to him.

This time, survival depends on putting one back.

The Only Living Pickpocket in New York arrives in theaters nationwide October 30, 2026.
