The Furious stars Xie Miao as Wang Wei, a father whose life is thrown into chaos when his daughter is kidnapped by a dangerous criminal network operating in Southeast Asia.

Wei turns to the police for help.

Instead, he discovers that corruption runs deep and the people who should be searching for his daughter may have reasons to look the other way.

So Wei decides to find her himself.

His search eventually brings him into contact with Navin, played by Joe Taslim, a relentless journalist investigating the same criminal organization after his wife mysteriously disappeared while looking into its activities.

At first, the two men aren't exactly partners.

But they quickly discover that they're fighting the same enemy.

With the authorities offering little help, Wei and Navin form an unlikely alliance and begin forcing their way deeper into a violent underworld connected to child trafficking, organized crime and powerful people determined to keep their operation hidden.

For Navin, finding the truth could finally reveal what happened to his wife.
