Club Kid Turns a Party Promoter Into an Unexpected Dad

Peter knows how to throw a party.

Raising a child?

That's a completely different story.

Club Kid stars Jordan Firstman as Peter, a New York City club promoter who's spent the past decade living for late nights, wild parties and a lifestyle built around doing pretty much whatever he wants.

Responsibility isn't exactly his specialty.

And at this point, his glory days in the city's nightlife scene may already be behind him.

Then one morning, someone unexpected shows up at his door.

His 10-year-old son.

Played by Reggie Absolom, Arlo is a young British boy Peter never even knew existed.

Following the death of Arlo's mother, Peter suddenly finds himself responsible for a child he's never met, and a relationship he never imagined having.

There's just one problem.

Peter can barely take care of himself.

His days have been spent recovering from the night before, and his nights have been filled with parties, clubs and questionable decisions.

Now he's supposed to become somebody's dad.

As Peter attempts to adjust to his new responsibilities, the two begin developing an unexpected bond. What starts as an awkward arrangement gradually forces Peter to reconsider the life he's been living and whether he's ready to become someone Arlo can actually depend on.

But changing a decade of habits isn't easy.

Especially when you've built your entire identity around never having to grow up.

Club Kid explores the collision between New York's nightlife culture and the everyday realities of parenthood, finding humor and heart in a man discovering that the biggest change of his life arrived without an invitation.

Peter spent years making sure everyone had a good time.

Now he has to figure out how to show up for someone who needs him more than the party does.
